. . . La pace è un’illusione, ormai.
C’è solo da capire fino a quando e se resterà una guerra confinata lì, anche se ormai è combattuta molto al di fuori del campo di battaglia vero e proprio.
L’Ucraina ha dimostrato di saper resistere, e dunque appare un po’ più forte (coraggio, ma anche l’appoggio di intelligence e di armamenti Nato). La Russia appare più debole, o meno forte di quanto apparisse 50 giorni fa.
La NATO va forte: c’è la coda per entrare a farvi parte. Gli Stati Uniti vanno alla grande: hanno l’Europa raccolta attorno alla Nato, stanno cercando di trasformare l’Ucraina in una trappola per l’incauto Putin.
I negoziati stanno a zero, virgola. Il pacifismo anche. L’opinione pubblica – e l’informazione – europea appaiono pronte a una possibile escalation. “Vincere”, è la parola d’ordine, ormai, dell’Unione Europea, che non si accontenta di respingere l’invasione, ma cosa vuol dire ?
- Riprendere Crimea e repubblichette del Donbass ?
Per bene che vada ci siamo infilati in una guerra civile di confine, senza sapere come e dove uscirne. Per male che vada, meglio non pensarci. Quanto a certezze, restano i numeri, al cinquantesimo giorno:

Il Corriere della Sera on line ieri pubblica un articolo sui “fazzoletti bianchi”:
«un segno di riconoscimento dell’esercito russo portato sia dai militari che dai civili ucraini nei territori liberati dalla Russia che non hanno paura di essere accusati di collaborare con la Russia».
Segue poi la spiegazione del perché (secondo la propaganda russa ndr) occorra imitarli: «È un modo semplice per dichiarare pubblicamente il sostegno per i nostri ragazzi e esprimere solidarietà con i civili ucraini che hanno subìto il fuoco indiscriminato delle forze armate ucraine e dai battaglioni nazionalisti».
Nella stessa edizione, c’era una foto da Bucha. Il fazzoletto blu ucraino al braccio del militare. Un altro fazzoletto al braccio della vittima.

E quando finirà la Guerra ???
Questa è una domanda dolorosa . . .

Ukraine has shown that it can resist, and therefore appears a little stronger (courage, but also the support of NATO intelligence and weapons). Russia appears weaker, or less strong than it did 50 days ago.
NATO is strong: there is a queue to join. The United States is doing great: they have Europe gathered around NATO, they are trying to turn Ukraine into a trap for the unwary Putin.
Negotiations are zero, comma. Pacifism too. European public opinion – and information – appear ready for a possible escalation. “Winning” is now the watchword of the European Union, which is not content with repelling the invasion, but what does it mean?
- Take back the Crimea and the Donbass republics?
For the best of it we have slipped into a border civil war, without knowing how and where to get out of it. However bad things go, better not think about it. As for certainties, the numbers remain, on the fiftieth day:

The Corriere della Sera online yesterday published an article on “white handkerchiefs”:
“A sign of recognition of the Russian army carried by both Ukrainian military and civilians in the territories liberated from Russia who are not afraid of being accused of collaborating with Russia”.
Then follows the explanation of why (according to Russian propaganda ed) it is necessary to imitate them: “It is an easy way to publicly declare support for our children and express solidarity with Ukrainian civilians who have suffered indiscriminate fire from the Ukrainian armed forces and battalions nationalists ».
In the same edition, there was a photo of Bucha. The Ukrainian blue handkerchief on the arm of the soldier. Another handkerchief on the victim’s arm.
